Posh Plants branding

 Posh Plants branding

posh by name and posh by nature.

Kathryn Austin required branding and stationery for a new venture and wanted to use interesting plant types that showed the variety of the products that she would be hiring out into office spaces.

the challenge

The main challenge in producing this logo for the client was finding 4 types of plants, each with their own unique shape and working that into a logotype that contained it. The shapes had to be simple enough so that they didn't look cluttered yet distinctive in shape, the plants used were Orchid, Kentia, Monstera and Palm.
the result
I Sourced the original images through stock image libraries and once Kathryn was happy with the choices, I illustrated them as black solid images. we then chose a background colour for each one. As business cards usually print on large sheets of card, we had the opportunity of printing multiple versions of the cards, a darker version of the brighter colours was used on the reverse to give 4 options, particularly eye-catching when handing out at events and network meetings etc
